A passion for peppers.

Hi, my name is Dillan Meyer, and I’m the founder of Mountain Ember Hot Sauce. In 2024, I turned my love for growing peppers and my obsession with hot sauce into a dream come true. It all started back in 2022, in the small mountain town of Idaho City, Idaho, where I began cultivating my own peppers and experimenting with crafting sauces at home. Since then, I’ve been perfecting my recipes, always chasing the perfect balance of flavor and heat.

Beyond hot sauce, I’m deeply committed to my community. I serve as a volunteer EMT, firefighter, and search and rescue team leader. When I’m not working or creating sauces, you can find me exploring the great outdoors—backpacking, rock climbing, or mountaineering in the rugged landscapes that inspire me.

Currently, I’m in school training to become a lineman, but my ultimate dream is to build Mountain Ember into the best hot sauce brand in the world.
